£1000 National Book Tokens won for local school

Sporle Church of England Primary Academy was delighted to win £1000 of National Book Tokens to use for their school library and a year’s membership to the School Library Association having been nominated by parents, staff and the local community.
Mrs Anne Neary, Executive Headteacher said: “Recently National Book Tokens ran a competition for just five schools to win £1,000 of National Book Tokens for their school libraries and we were absolutely delighted to be nominated by parent, carers and school staff and the local community.”
She added: “We are looking forward to the children and staff choosing the new books for our library and would like to thank everyone who nominated us so much for their support. We are a lovely, family, village school with small classes so to get this huge prize means a great deal to our 61 children, who will all benefit so much from our new books!”
